Rust effect radiators

June 19th, 2017

We got a surprise delivery to Bisque HQ of a new sample finish. We think this one might have the Marmite effect.

The Bisque Blok Radiator in Rust Effect finish

The Rust radiator! This Bisque Blok Radiator has been painted in a rust effect paint which looks very realistic! It’s not often that you see rust in interior design however it has popped up on sites such as Houzz and Pinterest.

The most popular way of using rust effect for interior design is in the industrial trend. metallics and bare metals are a common feature in bathrooms and kitchens that follow this style. You may want to use it as a feature wall only to not darken a room, or use more neutral tones along-side it.

Paint companies such as Dulux have created paint products to allow you to achieve this effect easily. Create your limewash wall using random brush strokes to achieve variations in tone and shade.

Here at Bisque we are still not sure on the rust effect finish on our radiators, we’d love to know what you think? Do you love it or do you hate it! All of our colours and finishes can be found on the Bisque website.
